About SA Health huddle

The San Antonio Health Huddle was developed by the Health Team as part of the 2025 Alex Briseno Leadership Development Program. The initiative focuses on underserved populations, particularly individuals lacking access to phones and internet, to facilitate their connection to essential healthcare services. The launch of SA Health Huddle was achieved in collaboration with partners including SACRED, Community Family Medicine, Catholic Charities, Any Baby Can, CAST Schools Network, and Workforce Solution Alamo.

The primary challenge addressed by this project is bridging the informational gap surrounding available health resources within the community.

The mission of SA Health Huddle is to serve as a trusted digital resource hub that connects individuals to quality health information, community resources, and professional guidance. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the capacity of social workers and clinic staff through targeted training and education initiatives.
